Senior Vice President, Health Strategies & Chief Pharmacy Officer
Brent Eberle is the Senior Vice President, Health Strategies & Chief Pharmacy Officer of Navitus Health Solutions, as well as the General Manager of Lumicera Health Services
. Brent partners with Navitus senior leadership and other internal and external stakeholders, including Navitus and Lumicera clients, the Navitus’ Formulary Advisory Committee (FAC), and the Navitus Pharmacy and Therapeutic (P&T) Committee, to ensure the delivery of high-quality, clinically and fiscally sound clinical PBM policies and programs for both Navitus and Lumicera. This dual role enables Brent to leverage his PBM and specialty pharmacy expertise to develop best-in-class specialty management solutions. At Navitus, Brent’s division is responsible for the development and enhancement of effective clinical and disease management initiatives; drug utilization review programs (retrospective, concurrent and prospective); formulary management; drug rebate management; and outcomes management initiatives. He also provides leadership regarding strategic and tactical business opportunities and tracks product trends to counsel clients regarding anticipated clinical programs and expenses. At Lumicera, Brent provides strategic consultation and oversight needed to monitor Lumicera’s business model, growth, and regulatory needs. Brent began his tenure with Navitus in 2004, as a clinical pharmacist responsible for the design and development of innovative clinical programs. He also managed Navitus’ Clinical Advisory Group and P&T Committee meetings and conducted medication and drug class reviews for Committee discussion. Since joining Navitus, he has held positions as Formulary Program Manager, Director of Industry Relations and Contracting, and Vice President, Health Strategies. In 2015, he was promoted to Senior Vice President, Health Strategies & Chief Pharmacy Officer. Prior to joining Navitus, Brent worked as a Drug Information Pharmacist at Dean Health System, where he was responsible for the development of drug policies and procedures for both the clinic and the health plan. Brent holds a Bachelor of Science degree in pharmacy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry with a business concentration from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Edgewood College. Brent is a licensed pharmacist in the State of Wisconsin and an active member of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy and of the Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin.
