Vice President, Investments & Partnerships

As Vice President of Investments and Partnerships at Navitus Health Solutions, Mike leads the company’s corporate development function, including mergers & acquisitions, strategic development and market analysis. His responsibilities include developing capital strategies, leading the issuance of debt, maintaining and elevating a robust treasury function and continuously enhancing Navitus’ investor relations program and financial modeling. 

Prior to joining Navitus in 2021, Mike acted as Vice President and Chief Investment Officer for SSM Healthcare Corporation. Mike has extensive experience building treasury departments for a portfolio of organizations, including City of Hope in Southern California, Washington Hospital Healthcare System, Quiksilver Inc. and Swedish Health Services. Before contributing to healthcare, Mike worked in corporate finance as an investment banker at Qualcomm Inc. and the Industrial Bank of Japan. Spanning the duration of his career, he has completed over $16 billion of debt and equity financings, including equity IPOs and bond financings. 

Mike received his undergraduate degree from San Diego State University and an MBA from the University of San Francisco. While completing his MBA, he worked as an analyst for a top-performing micro-cap technology long short hedge fund in San Francisco. Mike currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Family Caregiver Alliance and is an active member of several treasury groups. He also shares his expertise regularly as a panelist at various investment and corporate finance conferences.
